Federal and international agencies involved in trying to halt the spread of Asian carp into the Great Lakes will hold a three-hour meeting Feb. 17 in Ypsilanti to explain what they're doing and seek opinions from the public on how best to control carp. The meeting, hosted by six federal agencies and science experts, will be held from 3-6 p.m. at the Ypsilanti Marriott at Eagle Crest, 1275 South Huron St. in Ypsilanti.
