G.R.U.B.

Well it was my usual stressful day before the opener. Busy day at work, late start for the property and I ended up overheating on the side of 94 for an hour and a half. Finally made it to a gas station after pulling off to cool down 5 times and figure I have a small leak in the radiator. This same s*** happened last year to the date.  Filled up with new fluid, got her runn'in cool and officially made it to dad's place at 10:00. Will be driving with him in the morning. All is good and I figure the monster buck gods are with me. Good luck to all, shoot straight and be safe. Will post a report tomorrow night.

Good Luck! Finally getting the afternoon off, taking my brother in law to film the hunt. Should be a good day for it! (Owning a bow shop is hazardus to your bow season.....)

So? How did you guys do? I was hunting over in Oakland Co. that night and it was an aweful pretty evening. Any chance you spooked any big boys in a westernly direction? All the deer Ive seen in Lexington are on your beans in the evening or heading to your woods in the morning.  However, you need to be there to see em'.  That is a tough industry to be in during the season, but your customers appritiate it.  Im trying to get all my buddies to order through me so I can boost your revenueand get you in the woods a little more. I suggest you get some part timer to at least cover your morning hunts.

A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Chasing Oakland Co. Deer.  Wildcat can rest till the weekend.  Dont forget your suntan lotion if you head out. 

Total bust. Only saw one deer, and only for a few seconds. It was a beautiful night though. Couldn't have asked for more! Better luck tomorrow hopefully. Good luck guys!
