That's right!  Every buck in Michigan will be more preoccupied with hiding from us than with finding a doe. Of course, that doesn't apply to bow hunters who are keenly attuned to every sound in the woods. Is it a squirrel or a skunk that crunched the leaves behind your stand, or a buck approaching a scrape?  You dare not move your head to find out.  Opening Day of gun season, however, is different. Eyes are more important than ears if you're scoping a field for deer 200 yards away. Why not? ( Whew!
