Just wanted to see if anyone has been blasting some birds. This is the second year I have purchased my migratory bird license and have not shot a single bird!!! It might help if I go hunting for those flying rats! I have heard it’s nothing but fun. Last year I saw a group of guys posted up on the Thunder Bay River in a camouflage pontoon boat. It was decked out with fake Cedar and Pine branches. Pretty cool to say the least. I would love to do a late season hunt if anyone is interested. I have calls but no decoys. I’m not opposed to depleting my bank account on more hunting equipment as long as it makes me smile!:D

As long as hunting is involved (I'm sure my girlfriend will agree with this) I will travel anywhere!!!!!  I would love to come out and shoot some dirty ducks with you!  Jeff talks you up quite a bit.  This could initiate our fellow Grubs to start hunting with one another!  You could come hunt Dexter or North Street or even do a summer fishing trip!  Congrats on the deer!

The calhoun killers strike again!!!!!!  With January not far off, and coyote season coming on soon its time to get the dogs ready to go.  Early this morning a friend and I loaded four dogs in the dog box and took off for Harrison.  We dropped the dogs off at an 80 acre pin to get some training and exercise for the up coming season.  As we pulled in the drive way you could see 6 coyotes in a pin just waiting to have their wheels burned off.  We pinned our dogs up and hurried back home to get back for an evening hunt.  A friend of mine called just as i was gettin to Jackson and asked if I was gonna be home in time to hunt.  I said I will be there in 30 mins.  We got to our blind and saw five deer early.  As it was beginning to get dark the deer began feeding our way.  My friend shot a nice doe and made it another successful hunt.

Nice work on the dozer!  This will be my second year on the hunt for coyotes!!!  I love it!  Last year my brother and I set up a ground blind on top of a ridge out in Dexter and had a few come through but we could not see them.  Those wiley bastards were hiding out behind the tags.  I had a few other chances with my bow but they ran through a bit too quick!  I will get my first yote this year!!!!
